I believe that an important characteristic of a high quality on-line environment is that reliable information is being shared and unique thoughts and discussions are being generated. This should be done on a simple to use platform that is accessible.
In the past year I have learned that on-line students require support to be successful and that diversity must be acknowledged and accommodated. Many on-line students are learning from a remote location and may not have the same access to resources as mainstream students.
I hope to learn how to clearly articulate thoughts and how to evaluate learning.
